Based in Theale, Reading (Berkshire)
Permanent role 
Up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

++ An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our small team. We are part of the TMCI Group, an equipment manufacturing and process engineering company supplying the bakery and confectionery industry ++

We are looking for an experienced Parts / Inventory Advisor from a mechanical / technical environment to join our team based in Theale (Berkshire). The role will report to our Parts Manager.

The Engineering Parts Advisor Role: 

+ Review engineering drawings to identify the correct mechanical and electrical parts needed & how the different parts work together
+ Accurately search for parts from suppliers online/catalogues
+ Regular telephone and email contact with our factory and with customers 
+ Assisting customers with their parts queries
+ Administer and arrange the shipment of spare parts
+ Filing of parts orders
+ Resolving any parts discrepancies

About You:

+ Parts management experience gained in an engineering / mechanical environment
+ Eager to learn and develop your skills in an engineering environment 
+ Positive and can-do attitude
+ Attention to detail, accurate and efficient in your work
+ Able to work within an organised structure
+ Organise and prioritise workload to ensure that timescales are met
+ Have good numeracy skills
+ Adhere to processes and procedures
+ Ability to work in a small team
+ Computer literacy skills in a variety of packages including MS Excel & MS Word
+ Ability to work on your own initiative and seek assistance when required

Working Monday to Thursday between 8.30am and 4.30pm and Fridays between 8.30am and 4pm. 25 days paid holiday per year.
