Our client provides a global service for the distribution of bulk liquids and powders and has representation in over 100 countries worldwide, the operation of which is controlled from our client’s corporate headquarters in Middlesbrough.  
 
Continued growth of their business provides several career opportunities within the organisation and currently they are looking to increase the number of their LGV Class 1 ADR Drivers. Successful applicants will be based out of the Middlesbrough depot on a 4 on/4 off shift pattern.
 
Responsibilities of the role will include loading, discharging, cleaning and the shipment of tank containers that transport Hazardous and Non-hazardous bulk liquids. A valid ADR certificate (in tanks) is a requirement of the role in every class except 1 & 7.  The successful applicant will work around the Teesside area as well as the A1 and M62 corridors, therefore overnight stays will occur on most shifts with a duration of between 48 to 56 hours work per shift. The 4 on/4 off shifts will therefore include weekend working.
 
Our client is looking for applicants with a minimum of 12 months Class 1 driving experience, good organisational and communication skills and who are flexible in their approach to working outside the area when required.  Previous experience within this area of the industry would be an advantage.
