Salary GBP20-GBP23k dependant on experience
Our client is a global, award winning luggage and travel goods business, which prides itself on quality, innovation and product development. They're looking for a junior or middleweight designer to join their busy design team.
The role will include:
Creating products and components in Siemens NX 3D CAD software
Keeping up to date with Design trends on the high street, catalogues and websites
Ordering product samples for design and development
Negotiating with factories, suppliers and their China office on cost prices for products, parts, services and samples.
You will need to have:
A degree in Product Design or Industrial Design or equivalent work experience
A working knowledge of 3D CAD software - Siemens NX/SolidWorks/Rhino or similar CAD software
Experience of 3D sketching
Excellent attention to detail & accuracy
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, take direction and respond quickly to high work volumes.
