Graduate Design & Project Engineer required for a well established manufacturer and distributor of lined piping, fitting etc. based in the Littleborough area. My client is a growing business looking for someone to join their Engineering technician team long term. It is envisaged that the successful candidate will be degree served and have at least a couple of years' experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will also be confident using AutoCAD or a similar design software package.
Graduate Design & Project Engineer Position Overview
- Provide engineering information for the support of sales, purchasing, and manufacturing processes.
- Maintaining engineering data within an integrated manufacturing package (bills, costings, etc.)
- Maintaining/creating engineering drawings on CAD
- Creating documentation - data sheets, etc.
- Cost estimates
- Ensuring health and safety standards are met
Graduate Design & Project Engineer Position Requirements
- Degree served in a mechanical engineering subject or equivalent
- AutoCAD competent
- Ideally experience with 3D software packages
- Understanding of engineering data
- Ideally experienced in a similar role
- Based within a commutable distance of Litteborough
Graduate Design & Project Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary- GBP23,000-GBP28,000 depending on experience
- 5-hour week Monday-Friday
- 20 days' holiday (bank holidays on top) rising to 25 days second year
