Role: Graduate Engineer - Embedded Software and Electronics
My client are looking to strengthen their engineering team by hiring a Graduate Engineer, you will be working in a small tema and mentored by one of the Senior Engineers. The real selling point of this role is that you will be working on real products from day one, giving you an opportunity to work on the full design lifecycle ASAP which will in turn force you to learn quickly and progress your design skills.
The companies products are also targeted at helping the environment, you can leave work feeling you have done something good!
What will you know about?
* Embedded C software / firmware development
* Digital and analogue hardware design knowledge
* Documentation skills
* GUI (graphical user interface) development
* Interpersonal skills, interacting with colleagues and customers
Key Responsibilities:
* developing and maintaining existing products
* Supporting all aspects of the development process and new product design
* Writing documentation
* Electronic hardware design, including schematic capture, PCB layout component selection
* Software development, including windows applications and firmware development
* Assisting with fault diagnosis
Desirable Experience:
* Programable logic controller (PLC) programming
* Window GUI's in C#
* Full driving license
