Supply Chain Manager - UK & Ireland - Chemicals
Wilmslow - North West

An exciting opportunity has come available for a Supply Chain Manager UKI to join this world leading global chemical distribution business.
Working 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday this role will be based in the North West at our office near Wilmslow, you will manage teams of Supply Chain colleagues based across the UK and Ireland to satisfy customer demand, optimise network structure whilst working within agreed budgets for Inventory levels and minimizing obsolescence.
You will be required to train and develop colleagues to fully realise their potential whilst maintaining all Company procedures and legislative requirements, and aiming to achieve zero accidents associated with Health and Safety.
The key tasks of the Supply Chain Manager role include:
+ Strong prioritisation skills, knowing where to spend your valuable time and where to outsource. responsibilities while ensuring continued control and high standards.
+ Responsible for planning demand across the UKI business.
+ Optimising inventory using best practice techniques.
+ Minimise inventory obsolesence by taking action with Sales and Product management.
+ Optimising logistics/inventory flow between internal warehouses.
+ Working as part of a cross functional team to deliver world class customer service on time and in full.
+ Ensuring compliance for all recruitment, performance reviews and day to day activities.
+ Continue with the deployment of our Supply Chain Minimum Standards.
+ The ability to build relationships both internally and externally quickly and work cross functionally.
