Home/Field Based (with travel throughout the UK, Ireland and occasionally internationally)

Our client is a successful provider of CHP, gas and diesel power generation solutions. With a reputation for quality, reliability and customer service, they are the official distributor in the UK and Ireland for market-leading MWM gas engines. They are looking for a Commissioning Engineer to join their dedicated team.

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will support the successful delivery of projects throughout the UK, Ireland and occasionally overseas.  

Working as a key member of the Projects Team, you will commission a range of gas and diesel engines and liaise with customers to ensure that a first-class level of service is delivered.  

As part of your role, you will be required to visit our client’s offices in Manchester.  

To be considered, you will need:  

- To be a competent time-served technician in a mechanical and/or electrical discipline, ideally with at least five years’ experience  
- In-depth knowledge of gas and diesel engines 
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Office  
- The willingness to work away from home and undertake out of hours work when required  
- An ONC, NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds qualification 
- A full, valid driving licence
