Senior UX/UI Designers
Positions: 2 x Senior UX/UI Designers
Term: Permanent

Our Client is one of the pioneers in the latest Vehicle technology. Working from state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the South West, they are passionate about continuing to build and invest in employing only the best talent within the Automotive industry. This continual drive for success now provides the opportunity for two Senior UX/UI Design Engineers to join their team on a permanent basis. Offering negotiable, albeit based upon relevant experience salaries, together with an almost unrivalled benefits package, inclusive of performance related bonus, these positions are available immediately.
Joining their HMI team within Interiors, your key responsibilities will be as follows:
* -Able to manage specification into innovative UX concepts.
* -Effectively communicate concepts and ideas.
* -Understand and dictate control and feedback requirements.
* -Manage concepts with design and engineering teams as well as senior management.
* -Define Specification of solutions to suit the requirements of electronics - Interior -Exterior teams.
* -Play a leading role in developing systems for next generation products.
* -Develop product feature lists and user cases to make rationalised design decisions.
* -Collaborate to construct user trails to evaluate design feasibility and analyse and present results.
* -Communicating design intent through sketches, wire framing, Logical Flows and prototypes.
* -Collaborating with industrial designers, modelling teams and engineers to create seamless user experiences.
* -Create and own UX specs and requirements documentation through to production.
Key Qualifications & Skills ideally required:
* -Should ideally be educated to Degree level in Ergonomics, Design or Human Factor (or related field), although lower level qualifications and plenty of good experience will also be considered.
* -You will need to have a solid understanding of Automotive HMI Standards, design guidelines and best practise for Physical Commands, Cluster, HUD, HVAC, Infotainment and Vehicle functions.
* -You should have good experience of working within UX design in an Automotive environment.
* -Should ideally have experience with Usability and Distraction Testing.
* -Good visual communication skills, drawing, sketching etc needed.
* -You will be creative and have methodical problem-solving skills.
* -A good working knowledge of MS Office needed.
* -You will have the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an appropriate, concise and accurate fashion visually and in writing / verbally.
* -You should be able to multi-task and plan effectively when working with a variety of project teams in an often high-pressure, competitive environment.
* -We are looking for a self-starter with the ability to work independently, who will take on new challenges readily, possessing a hands-on approach and a can-do attitude.
* -Excellent team-working skills needed.
