Assistant Management Accountant. Our client, based in Melton Mowbray has engaged Paul Mitchell Associates to recruit an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a Permanent basis.
Ideally being AAT qualified or a finalist, your role will involve the following;
The role includes assisting in the preparation of accounts, budgets and forecasts; the monitoring of transactions and processes and ensuring departmental compliance with financial regulations.
The successful candidate will support the Director of Finance and work alongside two existing Management Accountants to supply financial information, provide advice and guidance and ensure the integrity and quality of the organisations financial management information.
Ideally you will be AAT or equivalent qualified with experience of management accounting. Knowledge of SORP would be a distinct advantage. You should be a confident user of Microsoft Excel and have experience in Iris Exchequer or a similar accounting package. Experience of working within the public sector would also be an advantage, although not essential.
