Manufacturing Engineer
Salary: GBP35,000 + 7.5% Bonus
Location: Eastbourne
Industry: Engineering/Manufacturing
The RZ Group is currently working closely with a global engineering company who are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer who can come in and join their New Product Introduction team based in Eastbourne.
The purpose of this role will be to provide Manufacturing Engineering resource to the NPI development teams.
Duties will include:
- Component selection and quality control
- BOM creation
- Routing Creation
- Actively participate in Process and Design FMEAs
- Cost reduction through use of Value Engineering techniques
- Compilation and update of Manufacturing Instructions
- All aspects of Design for Manufacture
Experience, Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Experience working in a Manufacturing Engineer role
- Awareness of Lean Manufacturing techniques would be an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully work on multiple projects at once
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ideally HNC or above in an engineering discipline.
