School Receptionist job in Bristol

Your new school
A lovely, vibrant primary school located in Bristol are currently looking for a School Receptionist to join them on a temporary basis until Christmas. This school believes in creating a happy and caring community where their pupils can flourish and works effectively with parents to ensure every child is on track and is rated "Outstanding" by Ofsted.

The hours will be Monday to Wednesday 8am - 12:30pm and 8am - 2:30 on Thursday.

Your new role
Your role will be to provide efficient and timely administrative and clerical support for the primary school, its staff, parents and pupils. To ensure that internal and external communication is of the highest standard and to be organised and methodical in your work. As the 'outward face' of the Primary School, you will provide a welcome to all external visitors, pupils, staff and parents. You will be responsible for all the attendance (SIMS Software), lunch admin, filing, general office tidying duties (shredding, recycling) and any other adhoc duties you may be required to support with.

What you'll need to succeed
Recent and relevant experience is required working within a busy school environment as knowledge of SIMS or a similar information management system is required. You will have good IT skills and be able to communicate efficiently with pupils, parents and external visitors. You will need to be friendly and have a professional telephone manner.
