Conrad Consulting are currently offering an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technician to join a leading independent professional consultancy firm based on the outskirts of Leeds.
The consultancy boasts over 20 years of experience, in which time they have built a strong reputation in the architectural + surveying industry, priding themselves on their ability to continually deliver design excellence and high quality, award winning projects.
Working on both national and international projects, the Architectural Technician will be required to use their strong technical background to assist with the technical delivery team. The practice work within a variety of sectors and will give you the opportunity to work on different projects, and not be pigeon holed in to one department. Currently the work stream is particularly busy within the retail, Commercial and Industrial sectors with many projects now at the Technical delivery stages.
AutoCAD is the main software package used within the practice so would be a highly desirable attribute for you to have. Revit is being introduced into the practice, so candidates with Revit experience will be looked upon favourably.
The ideal Architectural Technician will retain the following skills, qualifications & experience:
??A degree in Architectural Technology or equivalent
??An extensive capacity for the applied use of Revit
??Broad experience in the production of technical drawing/detailing packages
??An awareness of standard UK Building regulations
??A flexible, tenacious and positive approach to working with a team or autonomously
Areas within the business for professional development through comprehensive training strategies, expert guidance and exposure to a wide range of noteworthy commissions to work on, will be immediately available to the right candidate.
A salary in the region of GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 per annum will be offered to the successful applicant, alongside a competitive benefits package.
