Mobile Service Engineer - Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance - Up to GBP42k DOE - Company Vehicle - Mobile position covering Southern region - 43 hours per week - 1 in 4 weekend call out rota
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a leading power generation and CHP specialist.
My client is looking for an experienced Mobile Service Engineer with previous electrical and mechanical maintenance experience to join their team of Mobile Engineers. The successful candidate will be required to proactively undertake daily operational and maintenance routine checks of energy equipment in 4 major Hospitals across the Southern Region covering Reading, Tooting, Kingston upon Thames and Southampton.
Responsibilities:
*Maintain and manage new and existing equipment with minimum supervision.
*Carry out reactive and planned maintenance whilst delivering consistent customer service
*Carry out work in line with Health and Safety policies.
*Supervision of contractors, permit to work and risk assessment.
*Carry out diagnostic and fault finding of the Plant and equipment.
*Carry out routine servicing and commissioning of the Plant and equipment.
*Complete service reports and associated paperwork and provide an appropriate response to emergency situations.
What you'll need:
Essential
*Full Driving Licence.
*Qualification or relevant experience within Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance
*Previous experience maintaining and repairing equipment in total compliance with job specifications.
*Previous experience of liaising with sub-contractors and other visitors.
*Pro-active and capable of anticipating potential faults.
*Have a proven good record of health and safety performance and able to write and follow risk assessments for specific tasks.
*Able to follow method statements and amend as required.
Desirable
*Previous experience in operation of steam plant and associated equipment is highly desirable.
*Ability and knowledge on how to dismantle and reassemble boilers and associated equipment for annual inspections would be highly beneficial.
*Knowledge of planned maintenance schedules and repair works is desirable.
*17th Edition would be beneficial.
