As a potential new candidate, we understand you are looking to progress to the next stage of your career, we have a very exciting opportunity with a progressive and successful manufacturing company producing their own in house designed products for a niche market. They require an experienced plastic injection moulding Setter with the ability to set the moulding machines, carry out tool changes and troubleshoot.
Working a double day shift system (06:30-14:55 / 14:30-23:00) Monday to Friday / rotating.
Our client a specialised plastic injection moulding company is recruiting for a knowledgeable injection moulding Setters responsible for tool changes, setting machine parameters to record settings, loading materials, and maintaining quality records.
You must have a plastic injection moulding setting background within the plastic injection moulding industry.
Responsibilities:
To set and operate production machinery and equipment.
Quality checks ensuring product quality standards in line with QA specifications.
Achieve the correct output rate in order to complete the production plan and ensure the on-time delivery of goods.
Support the company's 5S programme.
You'd need to have a proven track record and hands-on experience of setting plastic injection moulding manufacturing equipment.
NVQ or certified training in a manufacturing discipline that would be advantageous but not essential.
