Head Chef - Restaurant
Torquay
GBP40,000 Basic
Who will you be working for?
A French inspired brasserie in Stockton Heath, their fresh food and fantastic customer service has gained them a loyal customer base., which is why they are seeking a hands-on Head Chef to lead their passionate team in a fast paced, customer focused restaurant.
Skills and Experience:
Have recent experience as Head Chef/ Kitchen Manager
Have the confidence and ability to deputise in the Head chef's absence when necessary.
Work effectively as part of a kitchen team
Supervise the lower level chefs and support their development whilst acting as a role model for them
Take an active role in keeping wastage and stock loss to a complete minimum
Be confident when delegating
Be confident with ordering produce, rotating stock, ensuring GP is met and making sure all health and safety procedures are correctly maintained.
Experience of working for a brand is not necessary, but would d be an advantage
