Are you a highly motivated forward thinking band 5 registered nurse; passionate about providing high quality care to the older person extending to palliative care and also ambulatory care?

If so we would like to hear from you. Shaston Unit at Westminster Memorial Hospital is made up of two wards with a total of 15 inpatient beds. Staff pride themselves in delivering exceptional person centred care to each individual as well as supporting friends and families to ensure patients are discharged safely to the appropriate care environment, or to support them through End of Life Care.

We are looking for a band 5 full time nurse to work predominately night shifts. This would consist of 5 weeks of night shifts and 1 week of days to ensure staff keep up their competencies during the day and support Ambulatory Care. The successful candidate will have some experience of working with the older person within rehabilitation and a desire to support patients and their families within a palliative care setting.

You will be committed to improving outcomes for patients and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
