Up to £50,000 per annum + Shift Allowance + Overtime Payments + Benefits 

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week basic including alternate weekends

We are an expanding family owned business with a long history in the Poultry industry and are looking for a Field Service Manager to join our engineering team at this exciting time. Our strength is extensive knowledge of and expertise in Meyn and their products, which enables us to provide excellent technical support and advice to our customers as a leading provider of spare parts, servicing, installations and machine overhauls. Our unequivocal goal is to keep plants running with minimal disruptions by providing quick and efficient service. 

This is a busy and challenging role in which you would be the No 2 to our Engineering Operations Director and which requires significant experience of field engineering, together with management experience. The role is customer facing and you will be liaising at senior corporate level with Chief Engineers and Operations Directors. 

Further responsibilities of the role are:

+ Plan and allocate jobs to the Field Engineers and oversee them from start to project debrief
+ Plan weekly rotas and ensure Engineers and the Workshop are working at full capacity
+ Attend site and carry out maintenance and repairs in the capacity of a Field Engineer 
+ Receive telephone calls and attend meetings whilst at site to ensure the Field Engineers can work continuously without interruption

To undertake the role, you will need the following qualification, skills and experience:


+ Educated to Degree level in an engineering discipline, preferably electrical
