This charity is looking to recruit an Employment Advisor.
Responsibilities:
- Provide employment support and secure sustainable employment for participants of their Education, Skills and Employment project/s
- Provide one to one IAG to participants of ESE Project/s through initial diagnostic, SMART action planning and action plan reviewing to enable participants to access sustainable employment (and other progression opportunities as identified by project)
- Facilitate group sessions to support skills development of ESE Project
- Understand and effectively implement project requirements and departmental processes
- Facilitate efficient employment support to project participants through effective IAG
- Identify referral pathways into ESE projects and build effective relationships to support referrals of participants into ESEs projects
- Achieve individual targets and KPIs set by project guidelines and ESE Lead
- Contribute towards all ESE targets and project delivery
- Maintain contact with individual caseload in line with project guidelines
- Maintain participant records accurately, ensuring compliance with project requirements leading to a robust audit trail for internal and external review
- Identify suitable participants and refer to internal and external opportunities as identified as beneficial to participant journey
- Support participants to access opportunities through group sessions and one to one advice and guidance
- Facilitate group sessions beneficial to participants journey
- Provide support to participants in work to achieve sustainable employment
- Foster good working relationships with internal and external contacts including project funders
- Assist ESE Engagement Team to source and liaise with employers to secure opportunities for participants
- Attend meetings and events as required to support ESE projects
