CHEF TO WORK WEEKENDS - £10.07 an hour

Christ’s College wishes to appoint a CHEF to join the busy catering team at the College to work on a casual basis, primarily at the weekend.  

The successful candidate will be qualified to NVQ level 1 or equivalent and/or working towards achieving level 2. Level 2 safety awareness and food hygiene certificates are advantageous.  This represents an opportunity to work with a professional kitchen brigade, to develop skills and to gain experience.

The hourly rate for this post is from £10.07 and hour. Other benefits include a contributory pension scheme if eligibility criteria are met, free meals when on duty and free use of the College gym.

The College’s catering department is responsible for providing a comprehensive catering service to Fellows, students, staff and alumni and to conference and bed and breakfast guests. Service includes formal dining arrangements and cafeteria provision, as well as high end functions, feasts, weddings and occasional outside catering.
