As a Product Owner, you will contribute to all aspects of a successful digital customer experience. You will improve Argos Financial Services' performance through innovations, implementing product roadmap and delivering continuous improvement to site capabilities, identified through forensic use of AB testing and web analytics. We have 3 Product Owner vacancies in our Digital Experience team and in this role, you'll report into a Channel Manager. These roles will primarily be based at the Sainsbury's Argos Head Office in Milton Keynes, with regular travel to London and the North West.

You will impact the way our customers do apply, service and manage their financial products. You will influence the channels used for each element and the way the channels work together to provide a seamless, integrated experience at all times. You will be an integral part of delivering the strategy of AFS, and will have exposure to AFS senior management. There is tremendous potential for career development both inside the function or as part of the broader Sainsbury's group.

You will be joining Argos Financial Services where our aim is to make life better every day for Argos customers. We help customers afford and protect what matters most, offering products and services including Credit, Warranties & Insurance. We are part of Sainsbury's Bank, part of the wider Sainsbury's Group, we're an exciting and growing organisation and as our customers seek more innovative services and technology, being part of one of the UK's most trusted brands brings our colleagues exciting opportunities to fulfil their potential. Here, you can be part of something bigger and help to create a new approach that puts the customer at the heart of everything we do.

As Product Owner, you will:

Drive and deliver on strategic and tactical initiatives to increase revenue within AFS.
Translate business objectives into product requirements and key features and benefits.
Articulate the detailed steps and processes needed to deliver features.
Work with the broader Digital Experience team to prioritise product investments.
Clearly define and communicate the detailed plans for delivering the objectives for your product area.
Provide detailed scoping and delivery of roadmap items.
Manage blockers and impediments to delivery and negotiate compromises to feature implementation without significantly impacting customer experience and overall strategy.
Manage and prioritise bugs and enhancements to existing features.
Lead delivery of the strategic testing agenda within your product area, working closely with the AFS Testing team to ensure full coverage for new features and ongoing regression of existing features.
Contribute to regular updates on performance of your product area for presentation to senior leadership.

As Product Owner, you will have:

Experience of either digital product management or ownership or channel management in a fast-paced commercial business environment.
Experience of implementing change to complex systems and channels.
The ability to create and develop new, innovative ideas to drive commercial and customer value.
The ability to drive through on agreed and prioritised change, to time and budget, working collaboratively across teams and business areas, to deliver suitable digital product solutions and to build strong, effective working relationships.
Strong organisational and planning skills, enabling you to run with multiple changes, improvements or work streams in parallel and effectively prioritise and deliver to planned timescales.
The ability to work with, and understand, digital technologies and 'translate' to commercial deliverables, objectives and user stories.
A strong ability to work flexibly, managing changing and competing priorities and absorbing new information rapidly to address complex issues and commercial problems.
The ability to understand our strategic context and work proactively to achieve the organisation's highest priorities.

As well as the opportunity to join a great team you will also receive a competitive salary, 22 days' holiday, and a range of other great benefits including bonus scheme, pension and retail discounts. We are open to discussions around flexible working.
