Training Coordinator
Elite HR are delighted to be working with this prestigious organisation new role of Lead Skills Mentor, to support and champion the Learning and Development of their Production teams. The role will require the jobholder to work on the Early shift (7am to 3pm), but with the flexibility to vary their hours from time to time in order to spend time with the Skills Mentors and Trainers on the other two shifts.
The jobholder will report to the Production Shift Manager and with a dotted line to the Senior Manager, Learning and Development.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the deployment of Learning and Development resources in Production, including delivering training courses, maintaining training records and supporting the Learning and Development Manager with Production related training programmes
Drive the performance of the Skills Mentors and other Trainers, challenging ways of working and implementing improvements to how training is carried out and recorded
Facilitate continuous improvement projects on their shift
Be the first point of contact for new starters on their shift in collaboration with the on-site employment agency
The ideal candidate will have:
Proven track record of training and coaching people and of driving forward the performance of others, ideally in a manufacturing environment
Strong people management and coaching experience
Experience of implementing a Learning Management System would be a distinct advantage
An innovative, proactive, influential, disciplined and creative approach to work
