Head of IT Business Engagement

We now have an exciting opportunity for a Head of IT Business Engagement to join our team as we continue on our journey where growth and change feature heavily. This is a brand new role and working in close collaboration with our IT Director this role will be responsible for managing the relationship between the IT function and all other business functions within Bestway Wholesale, ensuring that the IT and Business strategy is at the forefront of decisions made.

We have IT presence at two locations across our network and as a result this role can be based at either our Bestway Head Office in Park Royal, London (NW10 7BW) or our Batleys Huddersfield site (HD2 1UP).

The successful candidate will lead, develop and facilitate effective communication, planning and decision-making pathways to ensure business led projects and requests for change on existing systems are understood. By building professional and collaborative working relationships you will become a trusted partner of the various business functions and their teams, leading service excellence in all interactions with IT and ensuring that the service and change commitment needs of the functions are delivered.

This role will take a strategic approach in leading on business critical change and projects, cost association, introducing and sharing best practice as well as competitive insight and business case development to generate and deliver innovative and differentiated solutions.

To succeed in this pivotal position you should have robust experience gained within a similar role in IT Business Engagement / Business Analysis Management. Experience in techniques including PESTLE, SWOT, MoScOw and 5 Whys and a Business Analyst certification such as CCBP or CBAP would be of great benefit.

With experience of working within a variety of sectors (retail would be a preference also), you should be an impactful leader and inspirer of people with demonstrable experience of leading on change management and business critical projects.
