Data Analyst / Business Analyst

Our client is looking for a Data Analyst, to join their vibrant, successful business. The ideal candidate will have outstanding data manipulation skills, being able to prepare concise, informative reports using historical data. You must be proficient in the use of Excel, SQL and other data and reporting tools as well as being a confident communicator; you will need to explain what the data means to numerous other areas of the business and instigate change where necessary.

Job Scope: You would be responsible for managing data with the key purpose of being able to report back to senior management and help to drive positive change throughout the business.

You would be involved in numerous business functions and have input into customer acquisition and retention, email marketing, historical data usage and sales reporting amongst others.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data importing, organising and analysis
• Produce and track commercial KPIs
• Work along side the E-Comms Manager to develop email marketing program
• Ensure commercial output is measured and efficient
• Liaise with key department heads to drive positive change
• Post campaign analysis and reporting
• Creating SQL scripts
• Represent marketing activity internally

Experience and personal attributes required:

• Outstanding level of attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and rapport building
• Must be a proficient with MS SQL, Excel and reporting tools such as SSRS
• Demonstrable track record of using data mining, statistical analysis techniques
• Ability to maintain a detail orientated approach even while under pressure
