Do you have Stores or Warehouse experience? Are you good at Picking and Packing? Do you have a "can do" work ethic and looking to work at a successful and growing business? If the answer is YES! Then JRS are looking to talk to you!
Due to expansion, we are recruiting for our client in Hook for a Stores Assistant on a TEMP TO PERM basis to come and join their business.
This is a varied position and requires a candidate who is willing to get their hands dirty, help with all aspects of moving and lifting of parts and assist in their stores area with picking, packing and booking in.
Duties to include (but not limited to):
* Goods In - booking in of deliveries, inspection of deliveries and transferring to relevant location
* Stock control - aid in stock takes, counting, labelling and locating
* Use of Sage system to ensure stock movement is processed correctly
* Picking of parts and delivery to production area
* Organise and manage the "work in progress" system
* Working with engineers and fitters and providing support when required
* Packing of finished products prior to shipment
* Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy and Health and Safety is adhered to
Required Skills
* Previous experience within a warehouse or stores environment essential
* Computer literate including MS Office
* Previous experience of working with Sage a distinct advantage

* GBP17,000 - GBP22,000 depending on experience
