My client based in the Derby region are seeking a welding and fabrication tutor to join their expanding, enthusiastic team of engineers and construction specialists. The role will be teaching in classrooms (City and Guilds 2850) and workshops, specifically on fabrication and welding. It will also include working with the work based learning team visiting sites around Derbyshire assessing the students you teach.
The commercial training company specialise in Engineering, so you will be working with likeminded industry experienced teachers who all want to pass on their knowledge to the next generation of apprentices (16-19 year olds). It is a rewarding role with a solid team and career progression for the right person.
It has excellent links with the local college and businesses through it great reputation.
The successful applicant must have:
Level 3 in Engineering - either mechanical or fabrication and welding minimum
Industry experience within fabrication and welding
Teaching experience (ideally c & g 2850)
Desirable - a teaching qualification
Assessors award
The applicant will also expect to be DBS checked by the client.
