Reliability Engineer - Permanent - Somerset - Excellent Salary

Principle Relationships - Relationships will be required to be built and maintained with the following principals:

• To take responsibility for assigned Supportability Engineering tasks through empowerment and to achieve the assigned tasks to time, within budget and to the expected quality of that of management and customer.
• The key requirements for the above projects are Supportability Engineering, Support Modelling (OPUS,/VMETRIC/EDCAS), FRACAS, and Logistic Support Analysis.
• To deliver formal documents for the project, and to influence the design of the products.
• Interface with Project and Bid Management
• Work with other bid team members
• Work with the Quality Department to ensure compliance with company processes and procedures
• Influence stakeholders with respect to Supportability Engineering
• Need to understand the dynamics of the individuals, group, cultures and organization, and to adapt in the interest of the company and the Services business line.
• Able to influence 'design' in favour of Reliability and Supportability requirements
• Promotes an understanding of Supportability Engineering to stakeholders

Key Responsibilities:

• To deliver supportability tasks in accordance with the agreed Project Management schedule
• Customer acceptance of deliverables
• Project management acceptance of deliverables

Supportability Engineering tasks:

• Produce Integrated Support Plans and reports
• Logistic Support Analysis
• LSAR
• Produce Availability, Reliability, Maintainability analyses, plans and cases
• Attend design reviews meetings and act as the point of contact for Supportability Engineering
• Populate the FRACAS system with data, analyse and produce reports
• Attend Failure review boards and configuration control boards
• Logistic Support Analysis Record population, and report creation
• In service maintenance plan monitoring and optimization
• Spares parts modelling and optimisation
• Coordinate infeed data to Obsolescence, Tech Pubs, and Training
• Attend Integrated Logistic Support reviews and 'present' progress
• ILS Management

Relational skills:

• Integrated Logistic Support
• Logistic Support Analysis
• Availability, Reliability, Maintainability Engineering
• Minimum Higher National Certificate in Engineering or equivalent experience.
