We are currently recruiting for a Control Room Operator to join our team taking responsibility for operating our control room based in Redhill. In this role your main responsibilities will be to monitor and respond to the company’s SCADA system, alarms from company sites, answer intruder / fire alarms as well as operate the company’s CCTV surveillance system

Key responsibilities also include answering telephone calls and other correspondence, recording complaints and enquiries, logging telephone messages and coordinating planned and emergency work, liaising with networks, production and contracts department staff outside, raising any emergency jobs and obtaining and providing Contract Gangs with Utility Drawings.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a relevant operational position and have the ability to use GIS and EToN systems. We are welcoming applications from IT literate candidates with the ability to use Customer Contact and Billing Software, Company SCADA Software and CCTV, Fire Alarm systems and Web based information sites.
