A challenging and exciting opportunity has arisen in a Housing Association in Wokingham! They are looking for a Housing Officer on a temporary 3 month contract initially until they find someone for a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for
* Delivering a generic housing service
* Managing rent accounts for all the properties on patch
* Minimising low to high level arrears
* All aspects of tenancy management including carrying out administrative tasks such as sign ups, successions and mutual exchange
* You will also deal with ASB from low level noise nuisance through to representation in court
Ideally you will have
* Proven experience working as a Housing Officer
* Proven track record of reducing arrears on patch
* Solving or mitigating ASB cases through to resolution in court
* Worked with various client groups from general needs through to vulnerable adults
* Clear knowledge and understanding of housing law and legislation
The pay rate is GBP15-GBP19ph ltd and it is preferable that you have an up to date DBS and a current drivers licence with your own transport.
My Client is hoping to conduct interviews this week with a start date of the week after.
