Operations Coordinator

Reporting to the Operations Controller, the Operations Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the operational flying programme and coordinating support from all teams ensuring we are operating safely and in accordance with all Company and statutory requirements. This role plays a vital role in the achievement of Jet2.com's 'On Time Performance' targets.

You will provide support to all flying operations with particular attention to weather, aircraft serviceability, crewing status and other potential issues that may have an adverse impact. You will maintain a flight watch of all Company flights and ensure accurate tracking of each aircraft as well as ensuring all flight information is completed and correctly entered and distributed as required.

In addition, you will also provide up to date communication to internal and external customers and ensure the Operations Room is suitably equipped to provide the Crew with up to date information for the purpose of flight planning. You will also support the Operations Controller and assist in coordinating all charter enquiries in order to operate safely and effectively.

The Operations Control Centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and this role is 4 on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights) 12 hour shift pattern.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within an airline operations environment. Any experience within Ground Operations, Passenger Handling or flying would be an advantage. You must be able to demonstrate an understanding of the importance of 'On Time Performance' with experience of working under your own initiative and to tight timescales, as well as being a supportive and effective team worker.
