Account Manager

A prestigious Bradford based manufacturing company are looking for an Account Manager to join their company on a permanent basis.

Person specification

• We`re looking for an experienced and confident customer focused sales administrator or account manager for this role.
• This is not your typical sales role; we`re looking for customer focus and relationship building above direct sales experience.
• Experience within a technical/bespoke sales administrative or account management role is essential.
• We're also looking for excellent listening and problem solving skills
• A UK driving licence is essential.

Account Manager duties

• Acting as first point of contact for your accounts and potential new customers
• Providing consultative advice and guidance on product specifications, working with your customers to ensure their needs are met
• Suggesting design solutions for customers and creating bespoke quotations
• Liaising with engineering and design teams to provide a full solution for customers
• Visiting your customer`s onsite to gather the required information, carrying out onsite surveys and taking measurements
• Contacting customers for quotation feedback, pricing negotiation and to close the deal
• Liaising with site engineers and installers once the project goes ahead
• Providing aftercare to customers and keeping in touch with them, making site visits when in the area

After your training period (typically 6-12 months) the role will be a 50/50 split of office and site visits around the West Yorkshire area
