As a sourcer you will take ownership of active and passive talent acquisition for our client accounts ensuring that SLA's and performance targets are met. You will assist with the identifying and attracting top-tier candidates and building and maintaining a comprehensive candidate pipeline that addresses the needs of clients and enables the team to effectively meet expectations, and ensure a positive and efficient experience for prospective candidates. Typically responsible for one or more client accounts with a high volume of open requisitions that cover various roles and skillsets, as defined by the client.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborates with recruiters and hiring managers to understand the staffing needs of clients
  • Utilise advanced search techniques to identify candidates on databases, through networking/recommendations or via the Internet within agreed SLA timescales
  • Market mapping by researching the market, competitor mapping, geography mapping
  • Creation and management of "talent pools" for frequently hired roles
  • Directly contacting candidates to qualify interest in opportunity and encourage to apply
  • Post roles on client career site, external sites and other media, checking wording/formatting is appropriate meets brand and format guidelines
  • Manage any advertising responses and give feedback to unsuccessful candidates
  • Conduct initial base level screen against pre-agreed criteria. If required, instigate additional sourcing activity to strengthen candidate pipeline
  • Prepare shortlist for Recruiter to finalise selection
  • Support with the administration of campaign work (Graduate and experienced hires)
  • To apply all corporate and perm unit business procedures
  • Adhere to all documented processes and procedures: Operations manual & SLA, Technology processes and Customer's internal policies & procedures
  • Achieving personal Direct Recruitment Targets
  • Manages process and data via ATS/CRM platforms
  • Contributes feedback to operational reporting in line with stakeholder requirements
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned
  • Develops role specific and comprehensive sourcing strategies to meet program requirements; develops job-related marketing content including postings, email campaigns, and flyers
  • Conducts moderately complex to complex data mining, targeted searches, and outreach to various resources to source potential candidates, including cold-calling
  • Compiles, formats and prepares sourcing metrics and assists with creating information presentations for internal operational and/or sourcing program owners
  • Assists with the evaluation of current initiatives, strategies, pipelines, tools, technologies, job boards, etc. and identifies, recommends and develops best practices in sourcing
  • Conducts market and competitor evaluations and reports results
  • Fields moderately complex to complex inquiries from candidates and hiring managers; escalates inquiries to senior team members and/or management as necessary
  • Train and provide guidance on industry best practices to less experience team members
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Skilled in communicating effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Previous experience and expertise in candidate sourcing, including Internet and off line database searches, networking and Social Networking
  • Ability to prioritise, organise and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously while meeting assigned deadlines
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive/confidential information.
  • Ability to function effectively with or as part of a team
  • Ability to demonstrate effective customer services skills
  • Ability to utilise market research tools and techniques
  • Ability to maintain a basic understanding of and compliance with related local laws, rules and regulations.
  • Ability to be flexible and keen to learn with a creative approach
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Advanced proficiency with electronic sourcing resources, such as customer relationship management (CRM) tools and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
