Position: Service Support Technician

Location: Kent / South London

Salary: GBP25,120 plus vehicle, medical and other benefits

Hours: Monday- Friday working (days)

My client is a leading provider of service and maintenance management to multi-site operations.

They employ an innovative business model to partner with clients and to provide a one-stop service.

This one stop solution includes the delivery of electrical service and maintenance activity across their impressive client base.

Because of continued growth, we are now looking to recruit a support technician to assist engineers with planned and reactive electrical/mechanical maintenance across retail sites in Kent / South London.

No formal qualifications are required and it's not essential you have served an apprenticeship. It would be an advantage if you have supported and assisted engineers/electricians on electrical/mechanical equipment

Duties of the role include:

• To assist in the maintenance and repair all HVAC and refrigeration plant and equipment in stores to pre-determined standards, whilst complying with laid down Company Health and Safety policy.
• To carry out specific PPM tasks associated with the replacement and/or cleaning of air filters, heating and cooling batteries, plenum chambers, evaporator and condenser coils, condensate drains
• To support HVAC Technicians and Refrigeration Engineers during scheduled site visits by inspecting and repairing minor defects on AHUs, fan coil units, dampers, fan drive belts, refrigeration cases and fabric, bump strips and kick plates, door handles and fixings.
• Liaise with Refrigeration & HVAC Supervisors regarding PPMs and additional work allocation.
