The Ticketing & Membership Services department plays a major role in supporting the business to achieve Club revenue targets coupled with our vision to deliver world-class performance to our supporters both on and off the pitch. 

This casual position plays an integral role in supporting the Ticket Touting & Compliance Officer in ensuring all supporters are using their match tickets correctly when visiting Old Trafford on a Matchday. The role is a face-to face role, liaising directly with supporters, and will be based primarily outdoors, situated in and around the turnstile areas.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting both stewards and security staff with the appropriate checking and scanning of tickets
  • Ensuring supporters using concession tickets are doing so appropriately
  • Recognising where tickets are potentially being misused and escalating accordingly
  • Liaising with the relevant staff should any issues of ticket misuse arise
  • Provide information to supporters on ticketing processes and assist with ticketing inquiries

 Experience:

You must be able to demonstrate;

  • Customer service experience in a face-to-face environment
  • Sound personal qualities such as communication skills, flexibility, the ability to work in a team environment, self-motivation, enthusiasm and ability to work confidently under pressure
  • A practical approach to problem solving
  • Experience of dealing with potential conflict is desirable

Hours of Work           

You will be required to work matchdays and special events as they occur. Hours of work should be planned in accordance with the demands of the business and in accordance to the match Kick-Off times. Each individual shift will last circa 3-4 hours.
