Brand Manager


We are looking for a creative, digitally focused Brand Manager for our North East, Humber and Lincolnshire regions. The successful candidate will be able to raise the profile, relevancy and importance of our key brands in these regions.

Last year we sold 540 million newspapers, and our network of over 70 websites provide 24/7 coverage of news, sport and showbiz stories, viewed by 110m unique browsers every month.


Key Responsibilities
  • Create and execute a calendar of real-world activity (including but not restricted to events, partnerships, contras, awards etc) that raise awareness of the brand in its key target markets
  • Work closely with local teams to identify, shape and launch content and campaigns that chime with our audiences/obsessions and key stakeholders, motivating our networks of audiences/contacts to get involved.
  • To respond quickly to marketplace opportunities/breaking news to creatively capitalise upon them profitably and in line with our marketing and audience goals
  • Develop mutually beneficial partnerships with local, regional organisations and media groups
  • Develop the brand-led social media strategy and executions
  • Drive print loyalty: Maximise print purchase and loyalty with Reach-wide subscription campaigns and NS driving content campaigns

You will have a proven track record of building positive relationships at all levels, within a complex organisation, as well as with external businesses. The ideal candidate will also be a skilled problem solver, who is passionate about new digital media and technology, for example apps, devices, blogs and social platforms.
