Senior Electronics Technician
Vetronic Services LTD is looking to recruit a Senior Electronics Technician for their busy manufacturing facility based in Abbotskerswell, South Devon.
The company design, manufacture and sell life-support and monitoring equipment to the veterinary profession throughout the world.
This is a demanding role in a progressive company where the successful applicant can achieve high levels of job satisfaction as part of a close-knit team.
Responsibilities and duties:
- Product building, testing and repair
- Stock ordering from BOM's
- Stock control
- Responsible for production deadlines, product documentation and product testing
- Provide technical support to customers including some overseas travel
Qualifications & skills
- Minimum of HNC in electronics
- 2+ years in a supervisory role of 4 or more people
- Proven project and people management skills
- Experience of stock control and ordering within the electronics sector
The applicant requires a sound electronics background (to at least HNC level), familiarity with stock procurement and must be able to work in a small team with good people management skills. As senior technician, the role involves providing technical support to our overseas customers and may include travel to Europe for machine servicing and repairs.

Salary: £22-24k per annum depending on experience
