Quality Technician / Engineer, Gosport, GBP26,000-GBP32,000, Permanent
An engineering organisation are looking to recruit a Quality Technician / Engineer to their business on a permanent basis.
Working in a brand new premises the Quality Technician / Engineer will be responsible for ensuring products and services meet standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance.
Other responsibilities include: Writing production inspections plans to minimise risks of mistakes; Specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers; Suggesting improvements to company infrastructure and processes; Recording and analysing statistical information (KPI'S); Involvement in auditing and working with ISO.
In order to be considered for this position candidates need to have proven experience as a Quality Engineer, Quality Technician, Quality Auditor or Quality Inspector and as such have experience using quality tools such as 8D, Root Cause, Six Sigma, FMEA's, or Inspection tools. In addition to this candidates need to have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. It would be advantageous to have auditing experience as it would be to have worked within the aerospace or Oil and Gas sectors.
The hours of the role are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) 08.30-16.30.
