The Role

CleanStart, Social Enterprise, are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Driver Mentor to join our busy team. Working as part of our CleanStart team, you will carry out collections, deliveries and connections of white goods. A qualification to complete PAT testing is desirable as this is a key task of the role. There will also be repair and upcycling of furniture and white goods to be carried out and training will be available where required.

As a Driver Mentor you will be tasked with leading the local team on site, mentoring volunteers and new staff members with a diverse background and actively developing the team by giving constructive feedback. You will be responsible for ensuring our customer standards are delivered, time on site is recorded and that the customers experience of our service is positive. You will be a proactive member of the team, actively learning from customer feedback to improve the service delivery. You will have an excellent attention to detail, to ensure that high standards of customer satisfaction are reached. You will also ensure that all vehicles are road worthy and all operatives are working in line with health and safety.

To be considered for this role you must hold a full, clean driving licence with the ability to drive up to C1E and CPC licence.

Knowledge of COSHH law and experience of using mobile devices, such a tablets, smartphones is beneficial.  PAT test qualification desirable and a desire to develop your skills is essential.
