GBP24,000 Per Annum (Starting Salary)
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Prototype Technician to join our well-established client based in Swindon.
The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of wiring harness manufacture including:
Manufacture of high-end Military and Motorsport harnessing
Breaking down customer drawings and schematics
Manufacture of prototype harnessing and creating manufacturing build notes
Off-site customer support
Ability to manage a team of production operators
Crimping and termination, both hand and machine
Soldering
Wire cutting and hand laying
Termination of screened cables
Knowledge of heat shrink products including tubing and moulded parts
Previous experience in the cable assembly industry is required and preferably certified to IPC\WHMA-A-620.
Training and support is provided along with a competitive salary.
