Are you a determined property professional with land, planning or development experience? Want to progress your career with a forward-thinking business? If so, read on.

Forshaw Land & Property Group is dedicated to transforming empty space within a variety of buildings. We are currently looking for a Land Manager to join us in Bolton.

Having experienced year-on-year growth since our inception, we are offering the chance to play a key role in our future developments as we continue to evolve. This is a fantastic chance to work in a hands-on role across a variety of projects, with plenty of opportunities for career progression.

As a Land Manager, you’ll increase the pipeline of new-build and conversion properties for residential schemes, primarily in the Manchester region, and student accommodation developments across the UK.

Working within the Development Team, you will:

- Identify suitable acquisition opportunities, ideally seeking off market sites through proactive sourcing
- Build your knowledge of prime university towns and cities
- Perform market viability assessments of rental and capital values
- Support development appraisals
- Establish planning and technical constraints relating to the site
- Negotiate land purchases and progress through the legal process

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need extensive experience of sourcing development opportunities, bringing them through the planning process to completion. A full, valid driving licence is also essential.

We are also open to hearing from more junior candidates and will provide the support you need to make a success of your role whether you have significant experience or just a few years’.

Focused and ambitious, as a Land Manager, you’ll need the tenacity and drive to identify opportunities. Exceptional planning, prioritisation and time-management skills are also key.

Ideally, you will have MRICS status, but this is by no means essential.
