Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager.
An enthusiastic and experienced project manager to join the team supporting the implementation of our Children's Services Improvement Programme.
Working as part of the Programme Office, and aligned to the Corporate Projects Team, the post holder will manage the delivery of a number of key projects within our improvement programme. You will work with Project Leads from across the partnership, together with colleagues, to drive forward the improvements needed at pace.
Key activities will include:
• The day-to-day management of key improvement projects, ensuring they are delivered at the pace and quality required.
• Supporting the Programme Office in the provision of programme assurance, through the monitoring and reporting of progress to appropriate groups e.g. the Improvement Programme Board.
Applicants should have excellent organisational and planning skills, with ability to manage their own workload, set priorities and work to strict deadlines, while remaining calm under pressure.
Knowledge of children's social care is desirable.
