As a Procurement Assistant based in our UK Head Office some of your responsibilities and accountabilities will be as follows;
Management of cost, pricing and discrepancy issues
Maintenance of vendor documentation including contracts and data streams
Maintain and update SKUs
Assist and own a wide variety of administrative and data related task in support of the wider procurement function
Assist with project based activities
This will be an ideal career opportunity for someone with the following skill set and experience;
Ideally exposure to a procurement, merchandising or buying operation, ideally in a complex business with multiple vendors, product lines or SKUs Naturally strong administration skills
Comfortable with Excel and in particular manipulating large data files
First class customer service and communications skills
A commercial mind-set and an ability to think analytically
