CNC Machinist
Alecto Recruitment are currently working with a leading Manufacturing company, actively seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team in Taunton.
The Role:
As a CNC Machinist, your duties will include:
* Assignment planning, layout, set up and operating
* Making tool adjustments for a variety of major conventional CNC Machines - Milling & Turning
* Work from drawings, process sheets and sketches
* Checks and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances
* Check mechanical products using CMM (Co-Ordinate Measuring Machine)
* Assist in the design of fixturing and identifying tool requirements
The Candidate:
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following;
Ability to operate machine tools such as Heidenhain and/or Fanuc and Siemens Control.
Experience working on CNC Milling and Turning machines
Ability to use CAD/CAM at higher level, and edit CNC programmes
Understanding of geometrical tolerances
Understand the concept of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and TQM and TPM & SixSigma
The Package:
* Competitive Salary
* Shift Allowance
* 10am-6pm Sunday-Thursday (Nights)
* Pension Scheme
