Our client, a well-established, purpose built Nursing home located in Marlow, offering exceptional accommodation and services is currently looking for a passionate and motivated Chef who is looking to take the next step in their career.
As assistant to the Sous Chef, the Chef de Partie will manage all catering functions within the home, ensuring the delivery of standard operating procedures and high quality customer care. In addition, he or she will ensure that all kitchen services are efficient and that the required Health and Safety measures are in place and adhered to within the department.
The Chef de Partie may oversee one area of the kitchen, and will be partly responsible for ensuring effective portion and waste control within the kitchen area.
The successfully appointed Chef de Partie will be an energetic and pro-active individual, with a committed and organised approach.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of one years' experience in catering
- Appropriate supervisory experience and relevant qualifications pertaining to the safe delivery of Food & Hygiene or Catering Services. NVQ Level 2 or QCF equivalent.
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety
- Awareness of Waste disposal techniques and infection control
- Awareness of COSHH and CQC regulations
- Flexible approach to working hours / days
- Willingness to participate in training and development in respect of requirements of the role
