Part -Time Bookkeeper/Accountant, Near Loughborough Salary £23-26,000 pro-rata for part time hours £11 to £13 per hour (Hours negotiable - 15-21 hours - c. 3 full days or 4 or 5 part days per week)
About Us
Our client is a privately owned, successful service sector company. It employs a small team of people and is based near Loughborough.
Requirements
As a small team, it expects all members of staff to play an active involvement in the success of the business. The bookkeeper/Accountant will have day-to-day responsibility for finance, providing support and advice to the Managing Director.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
*Accounts Payable
*Accounts Receivable
*Bank Reconciliations
*Forecasting and cash flow reporting
*Management Accounts
*Budgets
Skills
You should have at least 5-years' experience of working in an accounts department, and ideally will hold a professional qualification (AAT or equivalent). You will be confident in the use of Excel spreadsheets and ideally have experience of Xero or Sage.
The hours are flexible and can either be done as 2-3 full days, or split over the course of a week (for example 4 hours per day over 4 days.
Hours: Part-time, 15-20 hours per week.
Salary: Negotiable £12-15 per hour
Holiday: 20 days rising to 25 days after 5 years (pro-rata for part time hours)
