If you have a track record of managing and leading multiple services, this is a fantastic opportunity to support the ongoing success of a well-established charity.
Royal Voluntary Service is an innovative charity inspiring and enabling people to give the gift of voluntary service to enrich and support their communities. For 80 years, Royal Voluntary Service has been making a huge difference to people in communities, at home and around hospitals. We are now seeking a Contracts Operations Manager to join our team working across the North-West of England.
Internally, this role is known as Commissioned Services Operations Manager.
In this important role, you will have the opportunity to help maintain quality and high standards of safeguarding and service delivery within Royal Voluntary Services to support and lead teams who have a genuine passion for what they do.
As the Contracts Operations Manager, you will have responsibility for Royal Voluntary Service contracts in this area, including those with the NHS, ensuring all services are delivered in-line with SLAs, all policies and procedures and meeting all performance targets.
Implementing your own local area growth plans, you will seek to maximise income potential via all relevant routes including establishing partnerships to advance and support Royal Voluntary Service's mission.
Working within the Community Operations Directorate and with other teams throughout Royal Voluntary Service, you will ensure that activities are delivered cohesively both locally and regionally. You'll work with Service Managers, providing coaching and mentoring opportunities to enable them to successfully deliver contracts and ensure that participants, volunteers and employees are supported and feel valued.
A resilient, organised leader, as the Contracts Operations Manager, you will need to be able to communicate effectively, forge strong working relationships and work to meet objectives and deadlines.
So, if you are the leader Royal Voluntary Service is looking for and are ready to step up to a new challenge that will fully utilise your skills and further develop your capabilities, this may be the role you've been waiting for.

- Experience of managing multiple service types within a charity or commissioned setting with demonstrable strong financial and analytical skills
- Experience of managing and motivating teams of employees and volunteers which are geographically dispersed
- Specific knowledge and understanding of the NHS, CCGs, local authority commissioning and other relevant outside bodies
- The ability to build positive and effective relationships and partnerships with both internal and external stakeholders
- A full, valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle
