Two fantastic opportunities have been created for a part time Visitor Experience Officer and Visitor Experience Assistant on a 7 month (flexible) secondment / fixed term contract basis at a flagship reserve in North Wales.

Visitor Experience Officer:
Starting salary at: £17,276 - £18,716 per annum pro rata

Visitor Experience Officer


Our client is looking for a Visitor Experience Officer who will help ensure their visitors, both young and old, enjoy a first class experience. You will work with the Visitor Experience Manager to develop an exciting and inspiring programme of income generating events and trails that help connect the reserve's visitors to nature.

This reserve is in the top 10 family reserves and much of your work will focus on the family audience. You will help to recruit and manage a team of visitor experience volunteers. You will support the ongoing development of making the whole visitor experience at this reserve one of the best.

You will encourage support for the organisation's work by promoting both the importance of membership and the benefits it provides to their new members and nature alike.

Visitor Experience Assistant

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic team player to engage with visitors to their Conwy nature reserve, deliver a consistently brilliant visitor experience and generate income by growing support for the organisation through membership.

Typically working 3 days per week as part of the Visitor Centre Team, you will be able to enthuse and inform visitors - particularly families - and support a small team of volunteers who assist with meet and greet and membership recruitment. Weekend and Bank Holiday work will be required. Conversational Welsh an advantage.

This is a fantastic nature reserve and a wonderful place for nature and people and this is a fantastic opportunity to help create a stunning visitor experience and connect people to nature and the environment.
