Our client is a specialist land-based college based across the North of England with centres in York, Middlesbrough, Saltaire, Wakefield, Newcastle and Penrith.

Leading on course management and working closely with the Programmes Manager, the successful part time Course Manager (29.6 hours per week) will drive forward quality and ensure high standards within all elements of the study programme, full cost, community and adult education provision.

Managing full compliance regarding all elements of the Study Programme to meet student satisfaction and progression, you will support curriculum planning for full, part time and FCR courses, prospectus information and timetables and will take part in enrolment events, interview evenings, parent evenings, taster events, open events and others marketing events as required.

Planning, preparing and teaching for 828 hours per academic year to a high standard, you must support with the development of resources and improvements within the department and manage student expectations by implementing the student disciplinary policy and procedure.

Candidates for this role should hold a degree level qualification in a relevant subject (or equivalent), a teaching qualification and have excellent sector-based links to ensure the curriculum is planned to meet employer and sector needs. With excellent knowledge of the further education sector, you should have the ability to lead, enthuse, prioritise and to multi-task and a people and learner centred approach. Experience in, and a level 2 qualification, in dog grooming are essential for this post.
