Job brief
This role is for a coffee company that provide innovative retail coffee solutions to catering environments throughout the UK.
They are looking for a talented and highly organised Internal Sales Executive that thrive on great phone communication, sales administration and making other people in the team effective.
The role includes assisting the BDMs in achieving their sales targets through effective administration and communication and includes proactive development of House Accounts.
The successful candidate will play a fundamental role in achieving their ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be competent at making outbound calls to existing and new customers, preparing presentations for Business development Managers, generating new opportunities with existing customers, managing contracts, qualifying prospects and closing sales.
Responsibilities
- Work with Business development managers to create a GAP analysis plan for their territories and arrange F2F customer visits for the BDMs
- Maintain and develop house accounts
- Plan and manage BDM's diaries
- Prepare quotes, contracts, customer presentations and job sheets
- Quote follow up - tenaciously follow up proposals sent and arrange for BDM to present where applicable
- Update and manage pipeline on the CRM
- Identify areas for cross selling in existing customers
- Prepare reports for BDM's and Sales Manager
Requirements
- Proven experience in internal sales role and administration roles
- Track record of over-achieving sales quota
- Strong phone experience and ability to build rapport over the phone
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
