About the Role
You will be responsible for the leadership and management of work based and apprenticeship programmes in Construction, to lead and drive curriculum development, and delivery of Level 2-3 and higher Construction provision at Ashley Down Centre, South Bristol Skills Academy and Off-Site.
You will be required:
- To lead and manage the construction department, with oversight for securing and sustaining improvements in all aspects of curriculum and quality
- To work in partnership with employers to effectively align current and future curriculum and qualifications to employer expectations and labour market demands
- To lead the development of a high quality student experience, creating partnerships between employers, academic and professional service teams
- To work across the whole College as a member of the College Leadership Team promoting and actively demonstrating the College’s values of integrity, respect, ambition and pride, fostering a culture of high expectations for staff and students
Your past experience
You will be qualified to degree level or hold an equivalent professional qualification. You will also hold a teaching and / or assessing qualification in further education. You will have experience of leading and managing engineering provision up to level 5 and of successfully leading and performance managing a team of teaching and assessing staff.
