Salary |GBP 35,809 – GBP 37,993 

Contract | Full time and permanent

About the Role

You will be responsible for the leadership and management of work based and apprenticeship programmes in Construction, to lead and drive curriculum development, and delivery of Level 2-3 and higher Construction provision at Ashley Down Centre, South Bristol Skills Academy and Off-Site. 

You will be required:

• To lead and manage the construction department, with oversight for securing and sustaining improvements in all aspects of curriculum and quality
• To work in partnership with employers to effectively align current and future curriculum and qualifications to employer expectations and labour market demands
• To lead the development of a high quality student experience, creating partnerships between employers,  academic and professional service teams
• To work across the whole College as a member of the College Leadership Team promoting and actively demonstrating the College’s values of integrity, respect, ambition and pride, fostering a culture of high expectations for staff and students

Your past experience 

You will be qualified to degree level or hold an equivalent professional qualification. You will also hold a teaching and / or assessing qualification in further education. You will have experience of leading and managing engineering provision up to level 5 and of successfully leading and performance managing a team of teaching and assessing staff.
