WR Fundraising Recruitment is delighted to be working with an inspirational and ambitious regional charity and recruiting for a new Head of Fundraising to develop and implement a successful fundraising strategy and play a major role in ensuring the charity achieves its targets over the next 3 years.
Focussing on community fundraising and corporate partnerships, we're looking for an experience fundraising professional from a similar role or who's ready for the next step up in their career to work closely with a friendly SMT and take responsibility for the charity's fundraising strategy and successes across the community and corporate fundraising platforms.

Head of Fundraising - Community & Corporate Partnerships
Permanent, Full time
Hertfordshire
GBP32,000 per annum
Working closely with the Director of Fundraising, duties will include:
* Responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of corporate, community and individual fundraising activities including COTY and CSR partnerships within local community
* Responsible for supporting the team in implementing and developing community and corporate strategy.
* Ensuring the charity continues to deliver an innovative and high quality programme of community, individual and corporate initiatives.
* Devise project plans, marketing plans, timelines and budgets for individual income streams,
* Help develop, lead and deliver major fundraising campaigns for the Charity
* Develop, build and deliver a profitable, sustainable community events programme, as well as new initiatives to raise funds from community groups
* To solicit new and work with existing corporate partners to maximise the potential of such partnerships within the local community.
* Work with volunteers, engaging and motivating them to support community fundraising initiatives where applicable.
* Oversee production of relevant promotional literature in accordance with marketing department guidelines.
We are seeking candidates with a strong record of achievement in community and/or corporate fundraising for this exciting opportunity. The role is key to the development of this innovative organisation's strategy.
The ideal candidate will have:
* A comprehensive understanding of corporate and community fundraising.
* Significant experience managing fundraising campaigns
* Experience or demonstrable knowledge of the principals of effective corporate and community fundraising
* Ability to line manage staff and volunteers
* Good analytical skills with an ability to research and analyse potential new ventures in the Fundraising arena
* Confident communicator with the public, with ability to positively influence and persuade people to support your own ideas
* Experience of setting and managing budgets
* Drivers licence and access to own vehicle essential
